O’er I walked
Through lands of olde
And forests anew that once burned
The force of fire used to
Bring a field back to life can perhaps be felt by the sauntering through
Of meadows and wooden footpaths; cutting through foliage and marsh
Swimming birds’ approach is a blessing whilst the water ripples lightly, arc-like and calm
Water and fire thus meet, in different temporal places
And the birds witness it all
-
The sound of rustling leaves in the fall is nice.
Till next time.
