4, 11, infinity?

What happens when you put a semi-random number into Google and it's under 100 decimal places, if not 50, if not 30?

I went from FOUR results, to ELEVEN, to AI telling me what I was searching for.

So the answer to today's question is that yes, Google search are for all intents and purposes definitely infinite now; they did not use to be.

Used to be, when people went online, it was for a reason.

Nowadays, you NEED a reason to not go online, otherwise people assume you've been online at least once online today - at least I do, when I see 35%+ of a subway car filled with people staring at their phones for longer than a minute.

So the answer is not infinity; the answer is again, yes, there are an infinite number of search results available for perusal if you so want to waste your time.

What the AI does is save a bit of time there, but it didn't need to be this way. Now that this is the way it is, I still fucking hate Google and what they did to Blogspot and Blogger especially.

Enshittification of this place has, thankfully, been minimal.

What really is shitty is the lack of people replying to me because of algorithms.

Have a nice day, robots.

What is the point of this blog?

The point of this blog is manyfold, and not merely to cite AI here & there.

a) It's in the name. It's a thing that is used for writing in.

b) It's my bastion of personal internet freedom, pre-Bitcoin adoption, and a soap box for current-Bitcoin adoption

c) I whine about my personal life issues here a lot, so that's another fold

d) I I I I. It used to be a relatively closed-source place where would I would write what I thought were witty things down but in reality it was just my teenage brain learning about itself on the internet

e) It really sucks that I get like no questions, but that is why from now on I will try to ask myself questions and because I am kind of smart I will answer them better than an AI could

f) Because I get to choose the questions, it's not really a problem for me to answer them because the point of this blog is to elucidate stuff sometimes, too.

g) Be polite. Have a nice day.
