What happens when you put a semi-random number into Google and it's under 100 decimal places, if not 50, if not 30?
I went from FOUR results, to ELEVEN, to AI telling me what I was searching for.
So the answer to today's question is that yes, Google search are for all intents and purposes definitely infinite now; they did not use to be.
Used to be, when people went online, it was for a reason.
Nowadays, you NEED a reason to not go online, otherwise people assume you've been online at least once online today - at least I do, when I see 35%+ of a subway car filled with people staring at their phones for longer than a minute.
So the answer is not infinity; the answer is again, yes, there are an infinite number of search results available for perusal if you so want to waste your time.
What the AI does is save a bit of time there, but it didn't need to be this way. Now that this is the way it is, I still fucking hate Google and what they did to Blogspot and Blogger especially.
Enshittification of this place has, thankfully, been minimal.
What really is shitty is the lack of people replying to me because of algorithms.
Have a nice day, robots.
