Relatively speaking, I'm less angry over my Overwatch losses (and wins too).
The only aspects of the game I'm still bitter over are the following:
- The switch from 6vs6 to 5vs5 (the upside is a more defined tank role)
- Free-to-play diluting the player pool (the upside is the queue times have -never- been shorter)
- How lonely I feel playing this game for thousands of hours, but never with a team of friends (the upside is that I use this game to recharge my emotional/social 'buoyancy')
It's a rainy day. I am playing Genshin Impact again, too, because the computer booted up fine today.
The game still runs beautifully. I pulled for Mualani like a month ago, and she's a super cute hydro character who owns a surf shop (in Fontaine I assume? I don't know; I'm not at that section yet). Really, all the characters in that game are super cute. Don't even get me started on the chibis (miniature oversized head pictures): sometimes, I try and count chibis of Keqing (my favourite character bar none) in my head when I'm having a rough time falling asleep. She has one where she's all tucked into bed with some Zzzs over her head and it's just so KAWAII!
I wouldn't recommend the game to just about anyone, however. Despite its popularity, I still consider it a niche game in North America - and if you're not careful, it'll swallow your wallet, time, and maybe even your appetite.
