Transfixed
Transfixed by
word of mouth and by
icons bygone; pixels a memory block in my
brain that I can't keep up with
thank you... thank you... I hear them, wishing I could trust them
fearful of looking too deeply in the past I take presence with them
thus evermore stuck in the present, away from Uranus' time dilation
transfixed I am; transfixed I remain; transfixed by pretty lights I become
so intense; so non-sequiturian so not so à propos
the pixels I miss clicking on aren't the spice of life
and where are those who share in my memories
if the memories I wish to bask in
are veiled by the black and silver box?

... case in point
mothafuckkin' ChatGPT almost respoiled one of my favourite novels again (careful! I might as well!) - Robot & Empire...
anyway, I won't spoil the ending for you, and thankfully I had already listened to the storyline eons ago... but here is something à propos for the times, beyond The Naked Sun.
The First Law of Robotics, as originally stated by Isaac Asimov, is:
"A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm."
I imagine the word "harm" is probably amongst one of the most hotly debated words nowadays. So many examples of "harm" can easily come to mind, but ultimately, it comes down to time pressure and time horizon for these kinds of things.
So anyway, here's what I've been listening to lately:
